Creating a New User Account
Creating a new user account within Case Manager is made simple, as all accounts can be created within the app. This knowledge base article will take you through these steps to creating a new user account for a Caseworker.
Where Can I Create a User?
Active Caseworker accounts can all be found within the Organisation's section via the administration page. Navigating and selecting your organisation will allow you to 'Add a new caseworker' from the left-hand menu.
Caseworker Details
Begin creation by first filling out the 'Details' section, beginning with 'User ID'. This is what the Caseworker will use to log in to Case Manager, i.e. email address or username. At the bottom of the page, you will notice a section named 'Team Coverage'. Clicking into team coverage allows the user you are creating to have access of coverage to other teams case loads based on what is applied into the box.
Applying User Roles
Once you’ve created your Caseworker. It is important for you to apply the correct roles to the user’s account. Simply select 'Add a role' from the left-hand menu. Selecting this will prompt you with a drop-down selection of pre-made roles. By default, the role 'User' should always be applied on account. You can apply multiply roles.
Applying a Password
Now that user roles have been applied. You can apply a password by selecting 'Change password' from the left-hand menu. Follow the guidance provided to the right of the screen and confirm. If your password meets the guidance, you should expect a green bar to appear marked 'Strong'.
We also recommend using a password generate such as LastPass or Dash Lane to create strong passwords.
➡ Note: If your system uses our SSO (Single Sign-On) feature. You can disregard this step.
Applying Dashboards
The final step to creating a new user is applying the correct dashboards. Simply select 'Manage dashboards' from the left-hand menu and apply the required dashboards needed for the role of the caseworker.
➡ Note: All new user accounts made must reflect licence agreements with IIZUKA. Please notify us at support@iizuka.co.uk.
