A Field List vs a Field

A Field List is a predefined set of fields that can be used to categorise and organise custom fields. It provides a structure for grouping related fields together. When creating a custom field, you can choose to add it to an existing field list or create a new one.

On the other hand, a Field is an individual custom field that collects specific information. It represents a single attribute or data field that can be added to services or actions within the system. Fields can be customised and tailored to meet specific needs or requirements, allowing users to collect and organise data according to their preferences.

Field lists provide a way to organise and manage multiple fields that share a common purpose or theme, while fields themselves represent the actual data collection points within the system.
